Booking Details

If you want to book an available week, I will send you a rental contract to review, sign, and return to me online; or mail to me at Adele Dinsmore, 1605 Serramonte Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80524. Receipt of your refundable damage deposit confirms your reservation. Please note that our bookkeeper, Jeff Milam, handles all the payments. Make out all checks out to The Joyes Cottage and send them to Jeff at:

Your payment schedule is detailed in the rental contract. We do not accept credit card payments. Damage deposit refunds are made within two weeks of your checkout, depending on the condition of the premises.

You should know that we give our returning guests until October first to book a week for the following season. New party bookings begin October first.

House Rules

Out of respect for our neighbors, we no longer have weddings on the property. We are happy to have wedding parties stay with us, though, as well as family reunions, and other special occasions. Please ask for a recommendation for our favorite photographer to come take pictures of your gathering.

There are too many wonderful restaurants and wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula to list here. Please go to Visit Leelanau County Michigan for ideas of where to go and what to do on your vacation. We watch Leland Report for a daily photo of our favorite place.
